Fia Card Services complaint by Ddwashdc
FIA Card Services called my house and spoke to someone not on the account. They said I was "several months behind", when in fact my payments had been arriving days after the due date (due to a misunderstanding).

I explained what the issue was and immediately caught the account up (less than one month's amount). FIA then reported me to the credit bureau.

When I questioned them on this, they told me they can report what they want, and refused to even discuss the mistake, my good faith correction, or that the account is longstanding. Moreover, they stated that it is the credit bureau's responsibility to correct, when in fact they can only report what the bank says.

Rather than employ any level of customer service, FIA became quite rude and refused to entertain any discussion of the issue. They showed no indication that - as their hold message says - they care about my business.
